Melina Unboxing Video Contest Rules

1. Eligibility

  • The contest is open to all paying customers of Melina who have received their product.
  • Participants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States.

2. How to Enter

  • Film an unboxing video when you receive your Melina product.
  • The video should highlight your unboxing experience and showcase the product creatively and skillfully.
  • Upload your video to our platform using the QR code on your welcome postcard, or your preferred social media platform (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) with the hashtag #MelinaMinds.
  • Ensure your post is public so we can view your submission.
  • Send an email to contest@joinmelina.com with a link to your video and your order number for verification.

3. Submission Guidelines

  • Videos must be original and created by the participant.
  • Videos should be between 30 seconds and 2 minutes in length.
  • Ensure good lighting and clear audio for better quality.
  • Include the product and packaging in the video.

4. Contest Period

  • The contest runs monthly from the 1st to the last day of each month.
  • Submissions received after the last day of the month will be considered for the following month's contest.

5. Judging Criteria

  • Creativity: Show your unique perspective and make the video engaging.
  • Skill: Quality of the video, including clarity, sound, and presentation.
  • Overall Impact: How well the video showcases the unboxing experience and the product.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • Up to one winner will be selected each month based on the judging criteria by our internal panel.
  • If a winner is selected, they will be announced on the 5th of the following month on our social media channels and contacted via email.
  • If a winner is selected, they will receive a $100 Melina store gift card.

7. Rights and Usage

  • By entering the contest, participants grant Melina the rights to use their videos in any marketing material, including but not limited to social media, websites, and advertisements.
  • Participants agree that their video submission may be edited, modified, and distributed by Melina.

8. General Conditions

  • Melina reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these rules.
  • Melina reserves the right to not select a winner on any given month where the uploaded videos do not meet the internal judging criteria for creativity, skill and overall impact. 
  • Melina is not responsible for any technical issues, including but not limited to internet connectivity, that may prevent participants from entering the contest.
  • By participating, contestants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Melina, which are final and binding in all respects.

9. Privacy

  • Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purposes of the contest and in accordance with Melina’s Privacy Policy.
